ACE Baltimore’s Day of Giving
ACE Mentor of Baltimore is hosting it’s first ever ‘ACE Baltimore’s Day of Giving’ on Tuesday, April 21st.
The ACE Mentor Program has been bringing workforce opportunities to local high school students since 2006. Through after-school mentorship, a design project competition, field trips to active construction sites, and scholarships, students are able to immerse themselves in the built environment industry.
In Baltimore, we have grown from 9 schools in 2017 to 15 schools in 2020. With this growth rate, and the impact we are having on our students, sustainability for our organization is the ultimate goal.
On April 21st, our goal is to raise $15,000. These funds will help ACE Baltimore sustain growth and impact more students each year.
ACE (an acronym for architecture, construction, and engineering) is a mentor program that is in high schools across America. Industry professionals from the built environment industry meet with a specific high school team over the span of 15 weeks to help the students gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of the industry.
