Welder / fabricator responsible for fabricating and assembling various metal products using tools, machines and your own hands. Build samples and test products. Will operate fabrication machines such as resistance welders, mig welders, tig welders hand bending tools, press brake, grinders, ring roller, saw shear. Ensure working environment is clean and safe; select appropriate materials such as galvanized iron, stainless steel or aluminum; read and interpret measurements, blueprints, sketches and assembly instructions. Measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of operations, verify specifications and alter dimensions to fit specifications.
