Cyr’s Marine has an immediate opening for a full-time Construction Laborer in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. This position will be based in a marine construction environment so candidates must be comfortable working in and around water. Construction Laborers will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks in support of workers on the construction site.

SCHEDULE, PAY AND BENEFITS

Schedule: Day shift, 40 hours per week. Overtime and varying hours may be required at times in order to meet project needs.

Pay Range: competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Construction Laborer at Cyr’s Marine, you will be working alongside and assisting skilled workers, handling material of all types and operating equipment. It will be your responsibility to assist with keeping the job site clean and safe. As the title implies, you will be carrying out a variety of labor related duties in an outdoor environment in all types of weather conditions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Required Skills/Abilities of the Construction Laborer:

• Strong work ethic is a must.
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed to count and take inventory.
• Must be able to pass a background screening in addition to DOT Drug Testing.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Prior experience in Marine Construction is a plus.
• Experience using hand and power tools is a plus.
• Recent work history.
